Our 300 Series – Phase II
Build Completed: September 2023
Phase 2 of our Toyota 300 Series Landcruiser build is complete! In Phase 1 of the fit out we installed the Jmacx Alpha suspension lift kit along with the Method wheels and Mickey Thompson tyres. Since then, the car has spent a few months traveling all around the country to different shows and events and now it’s time for phase 2.
Phase 2 was focused on adding some more external modifications to get it touring ready. We started with an ARB Summit MKII bull bar, side steps and side rails. As with most of our builds we’ve had the side step tread plates Line-X coated which provides a grippier surface and also gives them a more subtle “blacked out” look compared to the standard silver. We then added a Warn winch, Ultra Vision lights, GME UHF and more.
Once it was done in the workshop we handed over the keys to a couple of the Jacksons crew and headed to the Bendleby Ranges with the team from Norweld for the 300’s shakedown trip. First impressions of the build are really good and have exceeded our expectations. The Cruiser took on some pretty challenging and technical tracks and drove them with ease!
