JMACX 300 Series GVM Upgrades

Building on their years of experience with the 79 and 200 Series Landcruiser, Jmacx have developed a range of legal GVM upgrade packages designed to suit the Toyota 300 Series Landcruiser. These kits are the perfect foundation for a vehicle build, allowing users to safely and legally carry more weight due to the added payload.

Unlike simple shock and spring lift kit’s, the Jmacx kits include a range of additional components to correct the lifted vehicles’ suspension geometry, making it safer on and offroad whilst also delivering a more refined driving experience.

3800kg Kit

Enabling a considerable increase over the 300 Series’ factory GVM, the Jmacx 3800kg GVM upgrade is ideal for safely carrying more weight whilst also lifting the vehicle and enabling the option to legally fit larger tyres.

4200kg Kit

Taking it up a notch from the 3800kg kit, the Jmacx 4200kg GVM upgrade for the 300 Series Landcruiser is the go-to option for those requiring additional payload. To achieve the higher 4200kg GVM rating we replace the factory diff housing with an upgraded Jmacx diff housing and load rated wheels and tyres.

Available with either standard, 33”, 34” or 35” tyre sizes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My vehicle is already registered, can I still do the GVM upgrade?

Yes, if possible it’s always best to do GVM upgrades pre rego however we can still do them post rego. There is some downsides to doing it this way that need to be considered. If your vehicle is registered, we recommend discussing your situation with our sales team.

Can I install the Jmacx suspension without a GVM upgrade?

Yes, if you don’t require a GVM upgrade we can put together a suspension package using Jmacx components without engineering it with a GVM upgrade.

Does the Jmacx suspension work with a GR Sport?

Yes, both the 3800kg and 4200kg kits can be optioned to suit the GR Sport.

Can I install the Jmacx GVM upgrade myself?

Australian legislation states that GVM upgrades need to be installed by an Approved Registered Automotive Workshop (RAW). Hence these modifications cannot legally be installed by yourself.

Can I option the Jmacx GVM upgrade without a lift?

No, Currently all components and engineering for the Jmacx GVM upgrades only suit 2” or 3” lift heights.

Can I maintain my factory wheels with the Jmacx GVM upgrade?

The Jmacx 3800kg kit allows the factory wheels to be retained however the Jmacx 4200kg kit requires higher load rated wheels as the factory wheels are not rated high enough.

What is the difference between the Jmacx 3800kg and 4200kg GVM upgrades?

The main difference between the Jmacx 3800kg and 4200kg GVM upgrade is a replacement rear diff housing with chromoly axles which is required to achieve the higher rear axle loads required for the 4200kg GVM upgrade. The 4200kg kit also requires load rated wheels, tyres and flares to suit.
