BRETT’S 6X6 BUILD

Well, it might be time to change our name because we don’t just do 4×4’s! Brett’s 6×6 build is certainly something special and we love how the build has turned out, it really is the complete package. Starting with the obvious, we installed the 6×6 conversion which completely replaces the rear section of chassis and features coil springs all round, widened diff housings, locked on all axles, brakes on all axles and much more whilst still being legal Australia wide. By fitting the automatic transmission, we were able to engineer the vehicle with a 5800kg GVM, 4500kg towing capacity and a 10,300kg GCM. After the 6×6 conversion was complete we installed all of the more common accessories and modifications before sending the vehicle to Jacksons Australia for its custom tray, canopy & camper.
